Bellevue Badminton Club (BBC) is one of the most popular clubs in the greater Seattle area. But, does it really live up to the hype?

But some people, including myself, might have wondered: Is the juice really worth the squeeze?
In this post, I share my personal, unfiltered experience from playing at the Bellevue Badminton Club (BBC), specifically the Renton location.
For those that are new to my blog, I’m a badminton player since 18 years, a professional badminton player since 8 – and won 7x US Junior National Championships.

Derrick Ng Head Coach Bellevue Badminton Club
BBC is renowned for its high-quality coaching and training programs. The club has world-class and Olympic coaches from countries like the USA, Canada, Indonesia, and China, offering training for all skill levels. I’ve also had the pleasure to train with some of the best coaches at BBC while they were visiting the Bay Area.
The head coach of the Bellevue Badminton Club is Derrick Ng, an accomplished badminton player that has won the Canadian National Champion title 11 times.
So, when you work with the coaches of BBC, you’ll know you get a high caliber of advice!

BBC has a welcoming and inclusive community with over 12,500 members and an annual enrollment of 1,200 students. The club’s vibrant community supports players of all ages and backgrounds, creating a positive and encouraging environment for everyone.
Although the club has many members, it never feels too crowded. They manage their spacing very nicely!

I’ve played at Bellevue Badminton Club Renton many times. This is one of my favorite places to play badminton. I recommend everyone sign up for BBC, from beginners to professionals.
They’re a fantastic facility, with 20 expert coaches – and existing since 19 years.
